"Nice Hand, Mr. Chan"

Johnny Chan raised to 1,900 from late position, then the player in the big blind reraised to 7,000. Chan called.

Both checked the {8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop. The turn brought the {9-Diamonds}. Chan bet 10,000, then his opponent raised to 30,000 total. Chan thought a moment, then made the call.

The river was the {Q-Clubs}. This time Chan fired out seven orange chips -- a bet of 35,000. His opponent -- who only had a total of 37,000 -- thought for three minutes, then let it go.

"I didn't think you were bluffing," said Shawn Sheikhan to Chan's opponent. "I thought bluffing was illegal." Sheikhan then turned to Chan, sitting on Sheikhan's left. "Nice hand, Mr. Chan," he said.

Mr. Chan is up to 130,000.
