Double Elimination on Blue #31

William Soffin called a raise preflop from Mark Vos. Vos led the betting on every street of a board that came out {A-?} {J-?} {6-?} {7-?} {4-?}. On the river, Vos bet 150,000 and, without looking at his stack, Soffin called. Vos had flopped a set of jacks against Soffin's {A-?} {6-?} top and bottom pair.

When the dealer counted down Soffin's call, it turned out that he was left with a single yellow (T1,000) chip. He was all in for the ante on the next hand. Andrew Brokos opened that pot with a raise to 28,000. He was reraised to 75,000 by Jose Baeza. After deliberating his options, Brokos reraised all in and Baeza called all in for less.

Soffin: {4-Spades} {3-Clubs}
Brokos: {A-Clubs} {K-Clubs}
Baeza: {J-Hearts} {J-Spades}

A crowd gathered around the table as the dealer burned and turned a flop of {A-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {5-Diamonds}. Everyone at the table, rooting for Soffin's ridiculously short stack, started chanting, "Deuce! Deuce! Deuce!" Meanwhile, Brokos took the lead in the side pot and the main pot with a pair of aces. The turn and river didn't help anyone, coming {8-Diamonds} {4-Hearts}. Both pots were shipped to Brokos, and Soffin and Baeza were eliminated.

For what it's worth, Daniel Buzgon seems to be having a great time at the table. A cry of "Cocktails!" at the table brought a laugh from all of its players.
