Tommy Gone on Fire

Tommy Chen is up to 360,000 after raising preflop and check-calling Olav von Sachsen all the way down the {4-Clubs} {4-Spades} {5-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {K-Hearts} board with a sigh. Chen flipped over {10-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} to take the pot, while von Sachsen could only boast {A-Hearts} {8-Hearts}.

Harb-oring a Grudge

Anthony Harb has doubled up to 270,000 after his pocket aces made a higher straight than Chris Taylor's {8-?} {9-?} -- the chips went in on the flop, and come the river the board read {2-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}. Taylor drops to 240,000.

Hick-ory Smoked

Kenny Hicks is busto. He shoved {A-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} and got called by Mike Carlson holding {8-Spades} {8-Hearts}. He entirely failed to hit on the {9-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {5-Spades} although Carlson's hand improved considerably by making him a flush, and thus was Kenny killed, metaphorically. Carlson moves up to 305,000.

Who Da Mandt?

A straightforward bust-out for the awesomely named Troy McLain. He got it in with {A-Diamonds} {Q-Spades}, David Mandt found {A-Clubs} {K-Hearts}, and a lack of nasty outdraws boosted the Mandt stack to 240,000 and sent Mr McLain to collect his winnings.

Roast, with Xu

A simple preflop coinflip-type arrangement between Dong Xu and Michael Dyer saw Xu go bust and Dyer propel into the chip lead on 620,000.

Xu: {A-Clubs} {K-Spades}
Dyer: {J-Hearts} {J-Diamonds}

Board: {Q-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} {7-Spades} {7-Hearts}
