Giang's Sneaky Check

PLO:

A five-way flop of {6-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} was checked to Toto Leonidas on the button who bet 900. Chau Giang raised to 2,500 and Leonidas called. The turn was the {A-Spades} and Giang checked a second time. This time Leonidas bet 5,000 and Giang called once more.

The river was the {4-Spades} and Giang checked again, this time Leonidas checked behind and Giang instantly showed {K-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {6-Hearts} for the flop top wrap and a pair which hit the nut flush draw on the turn.

Leonidas predictably mucked his hand.

Even More Late Arrivals

Arriving in Hellmuthian fashion after the first break were Howard Lederer, Roland De Wolfe, and Tony G.

And for all those 2+2 readers out there watching... Lederer is seated at Jimmy "gobboboy" Fricke's table.

The Professor vs. Gobboboy

Gobbopower!
Gobbopower!
Limit Hold'em:

Jimmy Fricke led out on a flop of {A-Spades} {K-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds}, and Howard Lederer called. The turn fell the {Q-Hearts} and Fricke led again, Lederer making the call. The river was the {9-Spades}. Fricke led a third time, and Lederer called.

"Ace-queen" said Fricke before showing the {A-Diamonds} {Q-Spades}. Lederer mucked and Fricke raked in the pot.

Player Of The Year

With the arrival of Daniel Negreanu and now Allen Cunningham, we have every single Player of the Year in this event. Tom Schneider, Jeff Madsen and Erick Lindgren are all already here.

Demidov Gets the Best of Mueller

I will crush you
I will crush you
Limit Hold'em:

Greg Mueller raised from late position, the cutoff three-bet, Ivan Demidov four-bet from the button, and both players called.

The flop came down {10-Spades} {5-Hearts} {3-Diamonds}. Mueller led out and both opponents called. The turn was the {6-Clubs} and Mueller led again. The cutoff folded and Demidov called. The river paired the board with the {6-Spades} and both players checked.

Mueller showed {7-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} but Demidov had the winner with {8-Spades} {8-Hearts} and dragged the pot. Demidov is up to 43,000 while Mueller fell to 17,100.
