194 players bought in to the $10,000 World Championship Mixed Event and after eight levels of play, approximately 128 remain. Daniel Negreanu ended the day as the chip leader with approximately 120,000 with Vanessa Rousso, Jimmy Fricke, Eric Froehlich and Nick Schulman not too far behind.

A number of top pros were among the 66 players eliminated on Day 1 including Mike Matusow, Greg Raymer, David Benyamine, Tony G, John Juanda, and Phil Ivey, who dashed over to play in this event immediately after winning his sixth bracelet in the $2,500 No-Limit Deuce-to-Seven event.

As always, official chip counts will be posted as soon as they become available.
