Alaei Crippled and Eliminated

Daniel Alaei was already battling a short stack but was crippled after a clash with Jim Buckley.

Buckley raised the button before Alaei popped it from the big blind. Buckley called and they saw a flop of {K-Hearts}

. Alaei led out with a bet and Buckley made a hesitant call.

The turn was the {2-Spades}

and Alaei casually tossed out another 6,000. Again Buckley made the call. The river was the {Q-Spades}

and Alaei fired a third barrel but this time Buckley announced a raise. Alaei gave a wry smile as he went into the tank. He looked down at his last 8,500 chips and decided to save them for another spot as he folded his hand and gave up the monster pot.

A few minutes later Alaei was all in preflop with {A-Hearts}
