Kings vs. Aces

Shawn Buchanan raised from under the gun and then Nikolay Losev reraised from the cutoff seat. Action folded back around to Buchanan and he made the call. The first three cards were spread {Q-Spades}

. Buchanan check-called a bet from Losev.

The {10-Spades}

fell on the turn and Buchanan checked again. This time, his action was not to check-call, but instead to check-raise. Losev made the call.

The river was the {K-Clubs}

and Buchanan fired out with a bet. Losev made the call. Buchanan showed {K-Diamonds}

for a full house on the river.

Greg "FBT" Mueller let out a cheer for Buchanan, while Losev looked disgusted at the board on the table. Daniel Negreanu turned towards Mueller and said, "I'll bet you anything [Losev] had two kings beats." Just as Negreanu said that, Losev turned over his losing hand, {A-Clubs}

. Indeed, he did have Buchanan crushed until the river, but the kings won this battle.
