We pick up a four-way pot on the turn as the board shows . Action was on Ben Gold, and he made a bet. Karen Longfellow made the call, and Jean-Robert Bellande raised it up. John Hennigan got out of the pot, as did Gold, but Longfellow came along.
The river was the . Bellande bet once more, and Longfellow called. Bobby turned over , only really needing one of those cards to win. His quad deuces scoop it up, knocking Karen Longfellow down to 13,000.
Jean-Robert, on the other hand, must have had a fantastic dinner. Since he returned, he has been on an absolute tear, moving himself all the way up to 250,000. He and James Van Alstyne are now the only players in immediate contention for the chip lead with Scott Clements.

Simon Kearney had his short stack in preflop and had two opponents, Mack Lee and Brian Haack, battling for a side pot. The flop came and Haack checked called a Lee bet. He did the same on the turn before the was checked through.
Lee opened to scoop. Kearny was eliminated with his and Haack mucked.

Scott "BigRiskky" Clements is running this show
Scott Clements is not messing around. He was the chip leader much of the day yesterday, only being passed by Chris Bjorin just as play concluded. Today, Clements is picking back up right where he left off. He currently sits with 275,000, having a nearly 100,000-chip lead over his nearest challenger.
Clements collected his last bit of chips by eliminating another player, this time Russian Alexander Kostritsyn. Kostritsyn got it all in on the turn, and the board ended up reading .
Clements showed down , and Kostrityn could show nothing to win either half. Clements takes the high half with just a pair of sixes, and his eighty-six low earns him the scoop.

Richard Ashby has just been eliminated by Tom Koral. Justin Smith was also in the hand, but mucked on the river after seeing Koral's .
The dealer was in no mood to wait and let me take down all the cards, but the last four cards on the board were . The reason why Ashby is not happy about being eliminated is because he held for top set that got bested by runner runner wheel.

We join a hand in progress on fourth street, with both Mike Wattel and Chau Giang all in at the hands of big stack Scott Clements. The board read .
Clements tabled for the straight. Giang could do better though, turning over for the nut Broadway straight. Wattel didn't open up his hand, but he was calling for a heart on the river.
River: . Wattel mucked his hand, and he has been eliminated. Giang scoops up the pot with his big straight, more than doubling up to 52,000. Clements dropped the pot, but he's still plenty healthy with 255,000.

We just broke another table as we're now down to 63 players. Daniel Negreanu wandered over to find his seat at Table 77, right near the media tower. As he dropped his rack on the table, he was still talking about the last hand before dinner break.
"Four people... Four!. How sick is that?"

"Nothin'. He had nothin'. Scooped it up with one pair."

We join a loony pot on the flop with four-handed action. The first three cards were spread out in the middle of the table, reading . Alex Kravchenko was first to act, and he put out a bet. Daniel Negreanu raised, and both Matt Glantz and James Van Alstyne called. Alex Kravchenko wanted to play for more though, and he raised the table. Negreanu four-bet it, and all three of his opponents called.
The turn came the . Kravchenko checked, and Negreanu bet all in for his final 1,500 chips. All three opponents called, then checked it down when the river broght the .
"Two pair is good," said someone at the table.
"I don't got two pair. I got one pair," said Negreanu, with a stalemate developing as nobody would show their cards for a few seconds. Finally, Van Alstyne tabled for a clean miss. Negreanu showed down , giving him top pair. To his shock, he watched his three opponents gather their cards and muck them in turn.
Negreanu stood all the way up on his chair to get a better look. "WOW!" he yelled. "Are you serious?!"
They were serious. Negreanu's dry pair of kings was somehow good enough to scoop a monster pot, pushing him all the way back up to 78,000. Negreanu had 4,700 just minutes ago, seemingly with one foot out the door.
