With about 110,000 already in the middle and the board showing {4-Spades}{10-Hearts}{K-Spades}, Joe Serock bet 65,000, and Alex Ivarsson thought for a few moments before pushing all in. Serock quickly called, turning over {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}. Ivarsson needed help with his {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}.

Help came on the turn -- the {K-Clubs} -- giving Ivarsson trips. But the river was the {A-Spades}, taking the pot away and eliminating Ivarsson in 10th place.

Serock pushes up around 2.4 million, well out in front with nine players left.

Alexander the Great

Alex Ivarsson raised to 37,000 from under the gun, and Clayton Newman, sitting to his left, made the call. The blinds folded, and the flop came {Q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. Ivarsson bet 55,000, and after a pause Newman called.

The turn was the {6-Spades}, completing a possible flush. Ivarsson sat quietly for several moments, riffling a stack of orange 5000 chips. Then he pushed his entire remaining stack -- around 600,000 -- in front of him. Newman quickly folded.

Ivarsson is up to 780,000, and Newman now has 480,000.

After raising the previous hand to 40,000 from the cut-off but folding to Brock Parker's reraise all-in, Brian Friesen raised the next hand also.

Making it 40,000 once more, it was passed to Alexander Wilson's big blind who set Friesen in with a speedy call.

Wilson: {9-Hearts} {9-Spades}
Friesen: {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds}

The board of {9-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {5-Hearts} {5-Spades} {J-Hearts} was pretty decisive and we're down to 10 players.

James Sudworth has been moved from the other table into Friesen's seat.

Kings Good for Rios

Jesse Rios limped from under the gun, and Brock Parker raised to 56,000 behind him. It folded back to Rios who made the call. The flop came {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, and both checked. The turn was the {10-Diamonds}, and Rios quickly bet 60,000. Parker called.

The river was the {10-Spades}. Both checked, Rios turned over {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}, and Parker mucked. Rios has 860,000, while Parker has 1.48 million.

Ivar The Same Hand

Russell Crane raises to 41,000 from the cut-off and Alexander Ivarsson makes it 100,000 from the button. Crane reraises to 287,000 and Ivarsson moves all-in, Crane quickly calling for the rest of his chips.

They turn over {A-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} and {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades} respetively, the board comes {10-Hearts} {10-Spades} {7-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} and they chop up the blinds.

Welcome To Day 3!

It's the final day of the 6-max $2,500 and all I can say is I hope the six was as good for you as it was for me.

With 11 players and a scheduled spot on ESPN this afternoon for the final table, we're starting slightly early today as we cut these 11 players down to just 6 before we move them across to the feature table.

Play is due to start in about 15 minutes.
