Hold'em Blues For Amaral

Hold'em

Back to the Hold'em round and Chris Amaral has taken a dive after twice running into Timothy Finne.

In the first hand Finne re-raised preflop before slowing down on a {2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{10-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} however his {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} took it down as Amaral flashed {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}.

The very next hand Finne raised from early position, Gavin Smith called in the small blind before Amaral re-raised in the big blind. Both opponents called and the flop came down {7-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}. Smith checked, Amaral bet, Finne called and Smith folded.

The turn was the {J-Spades} and Amaral fired again, before Finne put in the raise. Amaral splashed the pot with a call, and check-called the {4-Spades} river.

Finne tabled {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for a set as Amaral flashed the {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} and mucked in disgust.

Finne is now our chip leader with around 700,000 as Amaral has quietened down now as he slips to 240,000.
