Mehdi Alaei eliminated in 22nd place
Mike Zulker opened from middle position to 44,00 and Mehdi Alaei pushed all in for 200,000 out of the small blind.

Drew Daniels sat in the tank for over four minutes before angrily folding his hand. Zulker asked for a count and said, "I think you may have two tens sir," and made the call.

Zulker: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Alaei: {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

The board would fall {4-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{9-Spades}{10-Diamonds} to see Alaei hit the rail as Zulker climbs to 780,000.

As for the father and son record that the Brunson's hold . . . it seems safe for now!

Shoaib Makani eliminated in 23rd place
Shoaib Makini opened the pot to 45,000 and Mike Eise pushed all in from the small blind.

With only 100,000 behind, Makini made the call for his tournament life tabling {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} to be in a race against Eise's {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}.

The flop of {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{J-Spades} seemed safe for Makini, but the {A-Spades} landed on the turn. Makini needed to hit one of the two remaining eights in the deck to stay alive, and would be forced to head to the rail when the {Q-Clubs} landed on the river.

With Makini picking up a handy $18,688 for his efforts, Eise climbs to 1,060,000 in chips.

Brattole: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Braz: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The turn changed little when the {J-Spades} dropped, and when it was followed by the {3-Hearts} on the river, Brattole doubled through to 480,000 and Braz slips to 310,000.

Chang: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
