Stokes Can't Put Away Flack

From the button, Layne Flack made the minimum raise up to 2,000. Jamin Stokes moved all in, and Flack snap-called, pushing his final 22,000 chips into the middle to put himself at risk.

Showdown
Flack: {A-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}
Stokes: {A-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds}

The board ran out {6-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {A-Spades} {5-Diamonds}, and Flack's two pair was plenty good to earn him the pot and a big double up to 44,000. He's still trailing the 76,000 of his opponent though.

The Thrill is Gone

Before the flop, Will Failla limped in from the button. Bryan Pellegrino raised to 2,300, and Failla called.

The flop brought {8-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {4-Clubs}. Pellegrino continued out with a bet of 3,100, and Failla moved the rest of his short 8,800-chip stack into the middle. Pellegrino quickly called and turned over {A-Diamonds} {A-Spades}. Failla was in trouble with his {8-Spades} {9-Hearts}.

Fourth and fifth streets were the {K-Hearts} and {K-Diamonds} respectively, blanks as far as Failla was concerned. He has been eliminated, and Bryan Pellegrino is moving on.
