Zolotow Crippled, Hoppmann Busts

It's been a good couple of minutes for Lex Veldhuis. First he was able to double through Steve Zolotow with Veldhuis' last chips in the middle preflop.

Zolotow held {K-Hearts}

but would need to improve against the {A-Diamonds}

of Veldhuis, however the board bricked {6-Clubs}

and Veldhuis doubled to leave Zolotow on the short stack.

A few moments later the last chips of John Hoppmann were in the middle with {Q-Diamonds}

of Veldhuis. The board once again bricked {10-Hearts}

to eliminate Hoppmann and jump Veldhuis up to a more respectable 60,000 at the break.
