It's been a good couple of minutes for Lex Veldhuis. First he was able to double through Steve Zolotow with Veldhuis' last chips in the middle preflop.

but would need to improve against the {A-Diamonds}

and Veldhuis doubled to leave Zolotow on the short stack.

A few moments later the last chips of John Hoppmann were in the middle with {Q-Diamonds}
