Mullaghy To the Nines

Sean Mullaghy was just the big beneficiary in a huge hand between him and Melchor Taclan. We came on this one as the chips were being pushed Mullaghy's way. He held {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, Taclan held {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}, and the board read {K-Spades}{8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{K-Hearts}.

Mullaghy's quads gave him the approximately 200,000-chip pot, and knocked Taclan out in 85th place.

Mullaghy is currently sitting across the table from Roland de Wolfe and Bertrand Grospellier. "Nice hand, buddy," said de Wolfe afterwards. "What's your name?"
