Chip Leaders Tangle

Eric Baldwin
Eric Baldwin
Eric Baldwin raised it up to 125,000, and Jonas Klausen made the call on down the line.

The flop brought out {10-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}. Baldwin checked, then called a bet of 160,000. The turn card revealed the {10-Clubs} to pair the board. Baldwin took a few seconds before tapping the felt, and Klausen stacked out a bet of 335,000. Baldwin cut the calling chips out of his stack and sat there shuffling them for another minute or so before sliding them into the pot.

The river came the {K-Hearts}. Baldwin checked, and Klausen thought it over before checking behind. Baldwin tabled {10-Spades} {J-Diamonds}. His bottom pair had morphed into trips on the turn, and it improved further to the winning Broadway straight on fifth street.

Baldwin drags down a big pot to pull ever closer to Klausen on the leader board, those two men still occupying the top two spots.
