Jesper Hougaard Wins Biggest Pot of the Day

After a flop of {A-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {4-Spades} Jesper Hougaard bet out 7,200 and was raised by his opponent to 23,200. Jesper reraised pot and his opponent called all in.

Hougaard: {A-Hearts} {K-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {2-Hearts}
Opponent: {A-Spades} {A-Clubs} {7-Spades} {4-Diamonds}

Drawing very thin in this now 200,000 pot, Hougaard hit a miracle {10-Hearts} on the turn to make his straight.

The board failed to pair on the river when the {5-Diamonds} hit and Hougaard took the biggest pot of the day thus far.

Jesper Hougaard - 200,000

Williamson Gets Rivered, Eliminated

Robert Williamson III
Robert Williamson III
Robert Williamson III was just eliminated from the tournament by Moritz Schmejkal.

Sorel Mizzi opened the pot with a raise to 3,300 from middle position. Action folded around the table to Schmejkal in late, who repopped it to 11,700. Action then made its way to RWIII in the big blind, who slid his last 5,500 into the middle. Mizzi made the call and the flop came {K-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}.

Mizzi then passed the first action to Schmejkal after the flop, who fired a 15,000 bet. Mizzi tossed his cards into the muck, setting up a showdown between Williamson and Schmejkal:

Williamson: {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Schmejkal: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

"Kings full!" shouted Williamson after the {K-Clubs} fell on the turn, further strengthening his lead in the hand. Unfortunately for him, that lead would only last a few seconds, as the {A-Spades} spiked on 5th Street, sending the pot to Schmejkal.

Late Position: {A-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {2-Hearts}

Hougaard Ousts Tony G

Jesper Hougaard and Tony G got it all in on a {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop; Jesper with {K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{K-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, which was good for the nut straight, and Tony with {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} -- good for top two pair and a gutshot straight draw.

The {J-Clubs} fell on the turn giving Tony a couple more outs to make a full house, but the river blanked ({2-Hearts}) and Tony was eliminated from the event.
