Omaha is such a cruel game. After Van Marcus limped in, Peter Jetten raised pot to 54,000. Isaac Baron was in the big blind and re-potted to 192,000. That took care of Marcus.
Jetten thought for a bit, then moved all in for 205,000. Baron of course called with . Jetten showed down . A very dry flop of looked like trouble for Jetten, but he was bailed out by running hearts, , to make a heart flush and double to 428,000. Baron fell to 540,000.
Three eliminations separate us from the end of the night. To say that play has tightened up considerably would be an understatement. The short stacks have between 12 and 15 big blinds. That's not very much in PLO, but with no antes putting pressure on them, they can afford to be selective in their starting hand requirements. But we see people standing up at Orange #60...
Richard Austin limped into the pot from middle position and Evan Sofer made a pot sized raise behind. Action folded around to Austin who reraised enough to put Sofer all in. He called.

Sofer:
The board came giving Austin aces up and the pot.
Evan Sofer is eliminated in 13th place collecting $24,448.
Ralph Perry - 14th Place
It's a story over multiple hands, but Ralph Perry has been eliminated. First, sitting with the button, he called a preflop pot raise to 35,000 made by Jeppe Nielsen. On a flop of , Nielsen bet 50,000 -- Perry's remaining stack. Perry folded.
A few hands later, Isaac Baron limped into the pot in front of Perry. Perry raised pot to 45,000 and was called by Cliff Josephy and by Baron. On a flop of , Baron bet 116,00 and folded both other players.
Perry was left with just 5,000 chips. He managed to double up from the big blind in a blind-on-blind battle, but lost the next hand from the small blind to Cliff Josephy. Josephy's was better than Perry's , making two pair, kings and tens, on a board of .
