A Million for Mosseri

Doyle Brunson (X)(X) {K-Hearts} {8-Spades} {10-Clubs} {5-Hearts} (X)
Abe Mosseri (X)(X) {10-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {Q-Spades} {Q-Clubs} (X)

Scotty Nguyen had the bring-in, Abe Mosseri completed, Doyle Brunson raised, Nguyen folded and Mosseri called. Brunson led out on fourth and fifth streets and Mosseri called. Mosseri led out after making an open pair of queens on sixth and Brunson called. Mosseri also bet seventh street and after a bit of a tank, Brunson tossed in another 20,000.

"Queens" said Mosseri, showing {A-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} in the hole for trips. Brunson mucked and Mosseri scooped the pot.

With that hand, Mosseri became the tournament's first million-chip man, with 1,050,000 in his stack. Brunson slipped to 320,000.
