Why Are We Waiting?

Over at table 31, apparently there's a player playing so slow that the other players are seemingly upset that he's taking a couple of minutes on every decision. The most recent being a raise of 1,000 to him which took a calling of the clock by other players to get him to eventually fold.

Jesus Crucified

Chris Ferguson
Chris Ferguson
We're guessing that Chris Ferguson has been knocked out of the tournament as there is a slightly shorter beardless man now sitting in his place.

No Troubles for D-W

David Williams - Honestly, he's slightly more chuffed than he looks.
David Williams - Honestly, he's slightly more chuffed than he looks.
David Williams has knocked out a player with {A-Spades} {9-Hearts} against {J-Hearts} {2-Spades} on a {K-Hearts} {9-Clubs} {7-Spades} {5-Clubs} {A-Clubs} board. As a result, the former Main Event runner-up is on 13,600.

No Longer Soren Up

Soren Kongsgaard is down to just 2,300, after losing a big pot. With fairly shallowish stacks cold-called a 2,000 raise with {K-?} {K-?} and saw a {8-?} {9-?} {10-?} flop. He got all in against his opponent's {Q-?} {Q-?} but a {Q-?} on the turn sent the pot the other way, leaving the Dane with just less than three big blinds left.

English Civil War

When two stacks go to war:

Jon Heath has dropped down to about 16,000, after he and Dave Jones got it all in preflop with {A-?} {Q-?} and {A-?} {K-?} respectively. Big slick held and Jones, who was early all in with {8-?} {5-?} against {A-?} {Q-?} and {A-?} {A-?} and got there, now has a very respectable 57,000.
