Lester Lays it Down

In a battle of the blinds J.C. Alvarado raised the minimum from the small blind and Jason Lester made the call from the big.

The flop came {8-Clubs}

. Alvarado checked and Lester bet 60,000. Alvarado made the call.

The turn brought the {9-Hearts}

. Again, Alvarado checked and Lester bet out, this time pushing 110,000 chips forward. After a bit of consideration, Alvarado quietly announced an all-in. Lester would also take his time to mull it over before folding, saving his remaining 185,000 chips for a better spot.

A crowd has recently collected since the final ten players condensed down to one table. Some well known players on the rail include Justin Young, Carter King, and recent bracelet winner, Matt Graham.

Chris "Jesus" Ferguson even popped his head in to see what was going on at the final ten.

Baldwin's King High Is Good

Action folds around to Eric Baldwin on the button who limps into the pot. Darryll Fish completed from the small blind and J.C. Alvarado checked his option in the big blind.

The flop came {7-Hearts}

and all three players checked.

The turn was the {6-Spades}

and Fish lead out for 38,000. Alvarado folded and Baldwin made the call.

The river was the {Q-Spades}

and after a long pause, Fish checked. Baldwin did the same behind.

Fish said "You're good. Ten high."

Baldwin flipped over {K-Hearts}

for king high and takes the small pot.

Darryll Fish Doubles Up on the First Hand

Darryll Fish raised pot from middle position on the first hand of the final ten. Action folded around to John Kabbaj in the big blind who reraised enough to put Fish all in. He made the call.

With the elimination of Billy Kopp, we are down to our final ten. The remaining players have traded in their elbow room for a seat at the unofficial final table of ten. They're taking just a quick few minutes to fill out bio sheets and arrange their chips. We'll play for one more knockout before moving over to the TV table.

Billy Kopp Eliminated in 11th Place ($57,645)

Davidi Kitai made the opening raise to what looked like 59,000 from the hijack seat. Billy Kopp was next to go, and he quickly put out a reraise to 198,000. Kitai asked him for an estimate of his remaining stack before taking a little soak in the think tank. Finally, he cut out the calling chips and pushed them neatly into the pot.

Heads up then, the flop came out {3-Diamonds}

. The flop action isn't quite clear because it happened almost instantly, but it looked like Kitai check-raised all in when Kopp potted it. Either way, it ended with all of Kopp's chips being at risk.

Kitai rolled over {J-Spades}

for the overpair, and it was a coinflip as Kopp tabled {A-Diamonds}

for the overs and the flush draw.

Kopp could barely believe it when the turn and river both blanked off with the {4-Spades}

and

. He was extremely disappointed as he shook hands with his opponents, wished the table luck, and headed off into the mass of spectators.
