Davidi's Drinking Double

From the cutoff seat, Davidi Kitai raised it up to 54,000. Next door, Billy Kopp made it 198,000 straight, and Kitai moved all in for 454,000. Kopp made the call to put another player at risk.

Kitai was in fine shape though, turning over {K-Clubs} {K-Hearts} to Kopp's {9-Spades} {9-Clubs}. The flop was money for the all-in player, as the {K-Spades} {8-Spades} {5-Hearts} gave him top set and a hammerlock on the hand. The turn {7-Spades} opened a little door for Kopp with a straight and flush draw, but it never materialized on the {Q-Clubs} river. Kitai has scored a big double up, knocking Kopp down a peg.

Kitai - 836,000
Kopp - 650,000

Michael Kamran Eliminated in 12th Place ($57,645)

Michael Kamran
Michael Kamran
Michael Kamran potted it to 84,000 from the button first into the pot. Davidi Kitai folded his small blind, but Billy Kopp peeked at his cards and shot a glance across the table.

"How much did you start the hand with?" he asked Kamran. He had about 120,000 behind the raise, and Kopp put him all in. Kamran made the call for his tournament life.

Showdown
Kamran: {J-Spades} {9-Spades}
Kopp: {A-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds}

The board ran dry: {Q-Hearts} {8-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Spades}. With his queens full of sevens, Billy Kopp has knocked off Michael Kamran in 12th place.
