It seemed to take a long time, but we finally found a 28th place finisher. Dale Phillips was all in preflop against Josh Schlein and Jason Zimmerman. Schlein and Zimmerman checked the action down on a board the developed . Zimmerman showed , trip nines. Phillips had flopped huge with but missed everything.
A full double up for Derek Raymond, who reraised from the small blind to a raise from Josh Schlein, then bet out on the flop and called all in to a raise.

Schlein:
Board:
Raymond's up to 70,000, Schlein's down a little to 170,000.
It was looking grim for the Italian Pirate. Max Pescatori was committed from the blinds with and found himself against Jeff Tunkel's . Solution? Flop two pair! Pescatori made tens and three on a flop of , then faded every card he needed to fade on the turn and river to secure a double-up.
Pescatori is still mighty short, but having 27,000 chips buys him a little more time.
Disaster for Max Pescatori. His flopped a set of fours, . The only problem was that Jeff Tunkel was in there with ? ? and flopped a set of kings. There was a bet from Pescatori on the turn that Tunkel raised. Both players checked the river. Pescatori was unable to fill his straight draw or his low draw and therefore lost the whole pot. He's down to 12,000 chips.
Peter Mavro ran into a spot of bother after raising from the cutoff and getting called by James "Flushy" Dempsey in the small blind. Flushy bet out on every street of the board and Mavro called, until the river -- he folded leaving himself just 6,000 and flashing for a busted low and a busted straight. Flushy showed him .
A few hands later and Mavro's last went into the middle, and indeed never came back out again -- he is busto.
It was a check-call from Josh Schlein on a flop of . He was in the pot with Jason Zimmerman. When the turn fell , Schlein led out with a bet of his own that Zimmerman raised all in. Schlein called. We never saw his hand; Zimmerman turned up trip jacks, , then promptly rivered aces full of jacks when the hit the river.
Zimmerman is up to 75,000. Schlein falls to 106,000.
Well, that didn't take long. Kenny Yeh raised from early position preflop and was called by Mike Matusow and Patrice Boudet. Matusow had first action on a flop of and led out with a bet. Boudet folded but Yeh called.
On the turn Matusow checked to Yeh, who bet. Matusow then check-raised enough to set Yeh all in. He called with , the second nut low and a club draw. Matusow showed down , the nut low and a straight six. When the river fell , Yeh was out of the tournament.
Matusow is on 140,000 and (apparently) feeling good.
Kenny Yeh is here today in an orange fisherman's hat. He must have been fishing for a fold in a recent pot against Michael Keiner. Yeh bet the flop and was called by Keiner. Both players checked the turn. When the river paired the board , Yeh fired again. Keiner called with , a baby flush. Yeh had complete air and mucked his hand.
Yeh is down to 28,000. Keiner is comfortable with 115,000.
