Greenstein Catches Haddox

The flop of {J-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} was checked between Barry Greenstein in the big blind defending and Randy Haddox, who had raised preflop to 27,000. Greenstein bet 40,000 on the {5-Clubs} turn and Haddox raised to 99,000.

Greenstein made the call and both checked the {3-Diamonds} river.

Greenstein flipped {K-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} and it was good.

Bad Turn for Barry

Matt Woodward raises to 27,000 and Barry Greenstein calls. The flop is {4-Spades} {A-Spades} {3-Spades} and Greenstein checks. Woodward bets 48,000 and gets called.

The turn is the {9-Spades} and Greenstein checks again, Woodward checks behind. The river is the {5-Clubs} and Greenstein checks a third time and Woodward again checks, flipping {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}. Greenstein shows {8-Spades} {6-Spades} for the flopped flush, the turn card costing him some action.

Back to Work...

Players have come back from spending 20 minutes looking for somewhere to grab some food from, with the poker kitchen being closed.

Vlastaris Doubles Through Habib

Lee Vlastaris raised the button and Barry Greenstein and Hasan Habib called from the blinds. All three checked the {A-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {4-Spades} flop. On the {7-Clubs} turn, Habib check-raised Vlastaris' bet and the latter moved in. Habib called with {K-Hearts} {3-Hearts}, but was up against his opponent's {K-Spades} {J-Clubs} which held on the {Q-Clubs} river.

Still ten left, we just need to lose one more to finish for the night.

Oleg Serbine Eliminated in 11th Place ($19,672)

Oleg Serbine made it two bets from UTG, Matt Woodward made it three bets from the small blind and Serbine made it four bets for a total of 48,000.

Woodward called and then Serbine put the rest of his chips in on a {7-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {7-Spades} flop with {A-Spades} {8-Hearts} and Woodward called with {A-Clubs} {5-Clubs}. Then for Serbine, the ugly little {5-Spades} appeared on the turn before the {J-Hearts} came on the river.

Matt Matros Eliminated in 12th Place ($19,672)

Matt Matros had become short after a couple of skirmishes and found himself in a raising war in the limit portion against Bahador Ahmadi. It went to four bets preflop and then Ahmadi called bets on the flop and the all in on the turn of a {2-Spades} {5-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} board.

Matros could only show {K-Spades} {J-Spades}, drawing to just the king as Ahmadi turned over {A-Diamonds} {J-Clubs}. The river was the {Q-Spades}, close but not close enough. Matros shook hands with his conqueror and hit the rail.
