Darden Dusted

Darden exits to the rail
Darden exits to the rail
Cung Tran opened with a pot bet of 5,600 and Paul Darden made the call. With the action on Phillip Loomis, he re-potted to 19,200 and both Tran and Darden pushed all in with Loomis calling a few thousand on top.

Tran: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Darden: {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
Loomis: {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

The board ran out {6-Spades}{Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} to see Darden hit the rail as Tran climbs to 58,000 in chips.

Hellmuth Halted

Catching the action on the {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop, Phil Hellmuth fired out 4,000 before being check-raised by Stewart Yancik to 18,400 total from the small blind.

Hellmuth shook his head before uttering, "I knew I shouldn't have limped, I knew it!"

Hellmuth pondered for a little more before open-mucking his {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} and then his {5-Clubs} as Yancik took down the pot.

Padraig Parkinson Eliminated

Parkinson sent packing
Parkinson sent packing
Padraig Parkinson raised the action preflop and was called by Jeremiah DeGreef.

The flop fell down {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Parkinson potted for the majority of his stack with DeGreef raising enough to put Parkinson all in.

Parkinson obliged and was up against DeGreef's {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} with his {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-?}(X).

The turn and river fell the {6-Spades} and {j-Diamonds} and Parkinson headed to the rail as DeGreef climbed to 58,000.

Steven Klene Falls

Brandon Cantu was late to un-bag his chips, but that hasn't stopped him sending an opponent to the rail.

Steven Klene saw his chips shipped over to Cantu as he continued to stack his original 105,000-chip starting stack.

Now, after eliminating Klene, Cantu sits in the vicinity of around 150,000 - but we'll have to wait until he finishes to give an accurate count.

Darden Quartered

We caught the action on the flop of {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} with Paul Darden all in holding {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} against Jeremiah DeGreef and his {K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}.

The turn dropped the {3-Diamonds} completing DeGreef's flush and when the river landed the {7-Clubs}, Darden was quartered as they both chopped the low to see Darden slip to 8,900.
