Sean Getzwiller potted under the gun to 35,000 leaving himself 4,000 behind.

William McMahan made the call on the button, as did Ted Weinstock.

The flop fell down {9-Hearts}

and the Weinstock checked to see Getzwiller put in his last 4,000. McMahan called and Weinstock folded to see the cards tabled.

Getzwiller: {Q-Diamonds}

McMahan:

The turn and river fell the {J-Diamonds}

and

to see Getzwiller triple to 119,000 in chips.

McMahan Scoops Hofman

Ronnie Hofman limped under the gun and was followed by four other players including the blinds.

The flop fell down {7-Diamonds}

and action was checked around to William McMahan on the button who slid out a bet of 60,000. The blinds passed by Hofman re-potted all in, and McMahan called for his tournament life.

McMahan: {A-Diamonds}

Hofman:

The turn landed the {10-Diamonds}

and river the {Q-Diamonds}

to see McMahan scoop the whole pot and double to over 260,000 as Hofman slips to the tables shortest stack.

After raising the previous three pots, Tommy Vedes opened to 42,000 again, and once it had folded round to Sean Getzwiller on the button he moved all in for around 80,000. Vedes made the call and the cards were tabled.

It has taken just under half a day of poker to see the starting 87 players whittled down to the final table.

Perry Friedman, Paul Darden, Aaron Kanter, Lee Markholt and Phil Hellmuth all made the money, but were unable to bag their chips just one more time.

Brandon Cantu will be leading the charge tomorrow with 1,025,000 in chips, and will be closely followed by Jacqmin Mathieu (552,000) and tournament veteran Lee Watkinson (412,000).
