Stud-8 seemed to be the flavor of the day as most of the big pots contested today have been in this discipline. We've just witnessed another as Steve Sung got the better of Barry Greenstein.

Greenstein completed, Sung led on fourth before Greenstein took over to lead the betting all the way to a showdown. However Greenstein mucked when Sung revealed (-X) for trips to take it down.
John Juanda raised from the cutoff, Gabe Kaplan made it three bets from the big blind and Kaplan called. Kaplan led out on the flop and Juanda called. The turn was the and Kaplan bet again. Juanda called. The river fell the and Kaplan fired a third time. Juanda called.
We just overheard Daniel Negreanu asking Tony G about ChipMeUp.com. It appears Negreanu didn't know much about the staking and backing website and was interested to find out more. Maybe CMU members should keep an eye out for Negreanu listing events in the near future!

The table of eternal cold brings back thoughts of Tasmania but has not pleased those on table 72 (which includes the likes of Andy Black, Freddy Deeb and Erik Seidel) who much prefer the balmy Vegas heat.
Once again this table has suffered from the constant gale of the above air-conditioning vent which blows directly onto this table.
After nine hours of play, the frostbite has set in and the players have relocated to the warmer waters of table 86.
