Treys Mean Triple Up for Malaguti

Down to his last 60,000, Flaminio Malaguti raised from the button, David Williams reraised from the small blind, Millie Shiu called from the BB, and Malaguti also called.

The flop came {2-Hearts}

. Williams checked, Shiu bet, Maluguti called with his last chips, and Williams called. The turn was the {K-Diamonds}

and this time Williams folded to Shiu's bet.

Shiu turned over {K-Clubs}

, but she uttered "come on!" when Malaguti turned over {3-Spades}

-- he'd flopped the set, then filled up with that second king. The river bricked out for Shiu, and Malaguti triples back to just under 200,000.

Shiu is still battling Greg Mueller for the chip lead with about 750,000.
