Nine Lives

While most tables have lost at least one or two players, and some are down to three- or four-handed, there is one table here at the start of level 5 that still has all of its original nine players left. David Plastik appears to have a slight chip advantage there (over Scott Seiver and the others).

The Dinner Bell Rings

Players are currently on a 60-minute dinner break. No one has won his or her table yet, though a few are close.

Cards will be back in the air at approximately 10:35 p.m.

A Few More Shot Out

J.C. Tran
J.C. Tran
J.C. Tran, Sorel Mizzi, and Victor Ramdin are among the recently eliminated players.

We are about ten minutes away from the dinner break. Andre Boyer just eliminated Morgan Stringham over at Table #174, leaving just three players left at that one. "Crazy Mike" Thorpe has most of the chips there, though, with over 30,000, while both of his opponents have less than 10,000. Thorpe appears in good position to be the first to win his table tonight. Whether he can do so before the dinner break remains to be seen.

Suer Up, Sorel Down

Another player was just eliminated over at Robert Suer's table, where he continues to maintain a chip advantage with six players left. Jean-Robert Bellande is there as well, and isn't too far behind Suer. Sorel Mizzi, meanwhile, is nursing the short stack.
