Time For A Video Replay...

Some slight trouble on table 191 in Brasilia. It appears as though a dealer had shipped some chips to the wrong player at the end of a hand but had already mucked the cards.

Two other players said that the gentleman in seat four was owed chips as he had a straight, therefore the TD ordered security to check the cameras. After a couple of minutes seat 4 managed to get 29,000 chips from his opponent in seat 1 due to the rechecking of the video.

Bellabarb in the Tail

Loïc Bellabarba had a fine stroke of luck when he called a gent who pushed all in for 6,200 preflop.

Bellabarba: {A-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds}
Hapless Opponent: {A-Hearts} {10-Diamonds}

Board: {K-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} {8-Hearts}

Ouch.

Mr Bellabarba was fairly heftily stacked before, but now he's way way up there, on 110,000.

Vahedi On The Up

After opening the pot, Amir Vahedi called an opponent's all in reraise.

Vahedi: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Opponent: {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} to see Vahedi sent an opponent to the rail as he climbed to 65,000 in chips.

Nice Little Erna

Sully Erna, lead singer of the band Godsmack, is up to 51,000 after check-calling a 2,800 bet on the turn of a {7-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {3-Spades} {8-Hearts} board.

Come the {A-Spades} river Erna bet out 8,000 and his opponent insta-called -- but also insta-mucked when Erna turned over {A-Diamonds} {8-Clubs}.

Let It Rain

The shades come down when he's in a hand
The shades come down when he's in a hand
Jeff "mrrain" Banghart raised his opponent's bet of 2,250 to 7,000 on a flop of {A-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {7-Spades}. The player took his time and then made the call.

The turn brought the {5-Hearts} and both players checked.

The river was the {4-Diamonds} and the first player ducked his head and laid it on his arm as he thought. He then rose and counted the pot out while doing some more thinking. Then, he checked. Banghart fired out a bet of 15,000, which, if called, would just about eliminate his opponent. The player elected to fold though and Banghart moved up to 60,000.

Esfandiari Straightens Out

Straight magic for Esfandiari
Straight magic for Esfandiari
Antonio Esfandiari opened on the button to 800 before being reraised to 2,200 from the big blind.

Esfandiari called and then both players checked the {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop to see the {J-Clubs} fall on the turn. Esfandiari was faced with a 2,400-chip bet in which he called to see the {10-Spades} peel on the river.

His opponent checked, only to be met with a bet of 5,400 from Esfandiari, in which he called, only to be shown {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs} by Esfandiari as he moved to 63,200 in chips.

Bolhman Doubles

Bohlman back in action
Bohlman back in action
Chicago online pro Scott Bohlman called a raise of 800 out of the big blind. The flop came {Q-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} , Bohlman led out for 1,500 and was called by the original raiser. The turn would bring the {3-Spades} . This time Bohlman would check, his opponent bet 3,500 and Scott raised all in for his last 14,000, and his opponent called.

Bohlman: {10-?} {10-?}
Opponent: {A-?} {Q-?}

The river was a meaningless {9-Spades} and Bolhman is back above starting stack with 32,000.

Ray Romano, Not The King Of Queens

Wonder if the driving range is still open?
Wonder if the driving range is still open?
Catching up over at Ray Romano's table we find him involved in a three way all in preflop.

Ray: {Q-Spades} {Q-Clubs}
Seat 3: {A-Hearts} {A-Spades}
Seat 9: {K-Spades} {9-Spades}

Ray's opponent in seat three had both players covered. The board would run out {J-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} {8-Spades} {2-Spades} and the TV star/comedian is sent home early today.

Ivey Raises, Loses

Ivey on top form
Ivey on top form
Phil Ivey has dipped to 63,000 after a run-in with the gent in the small blind on a {5-Spades} {8-Clubs} {7-Hearts} flop, Ivey on the button.

Mr. Small Blind bet out 3,000, only for Ivey to make it 9,000, all this while a Wall Of Media closed in around the table and Ivey's well-dressed railers craned to see.

An undeterred Mr. Small Blind reraised to 23,000 -- and in a complete anticlimax, Ivey folded.
