Wahlbeck Doubles Again

Ville Wahlbeck raised from the cut off and action folded around to the big blind who three bet. Wahlbeck reraised again and the big blind flat called.

The flop came {8-Spades} {4-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} and after a check from the big blind, Wahlbeck moved all in. The big blind made the call.

Big Blind: {Q-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}
Wahlbeck: {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}

The turn and river kept Wahlbeck's kings safe and he doubles up to 90,000.

Wayans Weighin' His Chances

As the stack gets shorter, the options are fewer. Such is the situation faced by comedian and actor Marlon Wayans right now.

After a flop of {8-Spades}{2-Hearts}{J-Clubs}, a short-stacked Marlon Wayans bet, then was raised to 1,650 by Charles Kuruzovich from the cutoff. Wayans responded by pushing all in for his last 11,000, and Kuruzovich let it go.

"Want to be here for five more minutes, at least!" smiled Wayans. He now has 14,500.

Isabelle Mercier Out

Isabelle Mercier might be sporting some brand new tattoos on her arms, but they haven't helped her today as she has just been eliminated from the tournament.

Andrew Chen Folds To a Check-Raise

A player opened the pot from the cut of to 1,250 and Andrew Chen called on the button. The big blind called as well and the three players saw a flop of {J-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} {3-Clubs} . Action was checked to Chen on the button who bet 3,000.

The big blind took a minute to stage his chips and slide out a raise of 13,250. The original raiser folded, as did Andrew Chen, allowing the big blind to take the pot.

Chen, who finished runner-up in a WSOP $1,500 NL event earlier this summer, is now at 32,000.

Apestylish

Andreas Altmeyer just added some more chips to his stack, moving up to 135,000 after eliminating another opponent.

"He's read your book," quipped Gregory Burns, sitting to the left of Jon "Apestyles" Van Fleet on the other side of the table. Van Fleet co-authored a tournament strategy text with Jon "PearlJammer" Turner and Eric "Rizen" Lynch.

Van Fleet is sitting with about 52,000 at the moment.

Tony Hachem Doubles

Catching the action on the {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop, Tony Hachem found all his chips in the middle.

Hachem: {A-Spades}{7-Spades}
Opponent: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}

The turn and river fell the {J-Clubs} and {Q-Diamonds} to see Hachem double to over 140,000 as he continues to enjoy a recently started table massage.

Ch-Cheung! Royal Flush for Robert

Kathy Liebert raised in mid position, and Robert Cheung was among three callers.

All four players checked the {A-Spades} {10-Spades} {3-Diamonds} flop, and come the {J-Spades} turn it checked to Cheung, who bet 1,700 from the hijack. The gentleman on the cutoff was the only caller.

Come the {J-Diamonds} river Cheung bet out a rather unsubtle 5,650 and his opponent called -- but swiftly mucked, obviously, when Cheung turned over {K-Spades} {Q-Spades} for the prettiest hand in poker.

Going Fishing With Darryll

From the cutoff seat, Darryll "DFish" Fish raised and then his opponent reraised to 3,000 from the small blind. Fish four-bet and then his opponent shoved. Fish made the call.

Fish held {Q-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} and his opponent held {J-Clubs} {J-Hearts}. The board ran out {K-Spades} {5-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {2-Spades} {8-Clubs} and Fish won the hand, moving up to 66,500.
