Luu Takes One From Corrado

Montagna Corrado raised raised under the gun and Hieu Luu reraised on the button. Corrado made the call. The flop came down {A-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {2-Clubs} and Corrado checked. Luu fired 125,000 Corrado made the call.

The turn brought the {Q-Diamonds} and Corrado checked again. This time Luu fired 300,000. Corrado tanked for five minutes and then folded his hand.

Luu Scoops Another

Lacay Doubles Luht

Joe Luht is up to about 800,000.

With about 150,000 in the pot and a flop of {7-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {3-Spades}, Luht led out for 100,000 from the small blind. Ludovic Lacay set him all in from the cutoff and Luht sighed and called off his remaining 300,000, turning over {9-Hearts} {9-Clubs}. Lacay showed {8-Hearts} {8-Spades}.

The turn was the {7-Spades} and the river was the {10-Hearts} and the Frenchman takes a big hit losing a quarter of his stack.

Ramirez Eliminated

Michael Cassella and Jason Ramirez were all in preflop. Cassella held {A-Clubs} {K-Spades} and Ramirez held {Q-Clubs} {Q-Hearts}.

The board ran out {K-Clubs} {J-Spades} {10-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {10-Clubs} and Cassella won the race, eliminating Ramirez in the process.

Zeitlin Runs Into Aces

Kevin Jenkins was all in for 98,000 holding pocket aces. David Zeitlin made the call with {A-Clubs} {K-Spades}. Jenkins' aces were able to stay in the lead for the entire hand as he earned to double to 200,000. Zeitlin dropped to 340,000.

Hinkle Slowrolled

Blair Hinkle check-called 37,000 from Pat O'Malley on a {K-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} flop, before both players checked the {9-Clubs} turn.

Hinkle bet out 65,000 on the {J-Spades} river and O'Malley just called; Hinkle flipped {K-Spades} {Q-Spades} for two pair, but O'Malley turned over {10-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} for a rivered straight.

"Slowroll," said Hinkle.

Hinkle down to 1,000,000, O'Malley up to 1,100,000.

Patchell Is Wheely Good

Blind on blind, Joel Patchell and Kyle Wilson see a flop of {4-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} that they both check. On the {5-Hearts} Patchell bets 32,000 and Wilson raises to 80,000.

Patchell calls and then calls another 160,000 on the {8-Diamonds} river. Patchell flips up {A-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} as Wilson mucks.

Recent Eliminations

Adam Knepp Eliminated

Adam Knepp was all in for his last 92,000 from the cut off with {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts} against the {k-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} of Tony “Bagels” Cavezza. The board kept Cavezza’s kings safe, eliminating Knepp from the tournament.

Fabian Ortiz was all before the flop from the big blind with {A-Spades}{4-Spades} against the {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades} of Manuel Labandeira. The board failed to improve Oritz's hand and he was eliminated from the tournamnet.

Holding the Nuts

From early position, Kevin Jenkins raised to 25,000 and found three callers. Theo Tran called from middle position, Vincent Maek called from the cutoff, and Jeff Duvall called from the small blind.

The flop came down {K-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {9-Spades} and Duvall checked. Jenkins fired 40,000. Tran and Maek both folded before Duvall raised all in. Jenkins quickly called and was all in for 162,000 total.

Jenkins held the nuts -- {Q-Hearts} {10-Hearts}. His opponent held top two pair -- {K-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}. The turn and river were both tens and Jenkins was able to double up. He now has 420,000 while Duvall dropped to 380,000.

Keys Locked Up

James Keys' excellent run has come to an end at the hands of Marc Etienne McLaughlin.

We're not sure exactly when the chips went in, but the hands and the board looked as follows:
