Bombing Run!

Tom Schneider raised to 22,000 and Kevin Saul reraised to 62,000. Schneider reraised to 192,000 and Saul moved in.

Schneider immediately called with {A-?} {A-?} Saul's {A-?} {K-?} was in big trouble. The board came a veritable set of blanks and Saul was crippled to 50,000 (eliminated on the next hand).

Former WSOP Player Of The Year Tom Schneider is now on about 2,100,000.

Panayiotou Pounds Thompson

Just before the break, we caught up with a big pot brewing on the turn. The board showed {3-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {5-Clubs}, and there were about 300,000 chips already in the pot. Both Eracles Panayiotou and Greg Thompson put in another 250,000 each after fourth street, and the river card was the {A-Diamonds}. Panayiotou fired 500,000 more at the pot, and Thompson would tank and fold.

Panayiotou showed his {K-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} for the airball bluff as he raked in the big pot, moving up to 1.5 million now. Thompson is down to 660,000, and he was not a fan of the bluff. "God!" he said. "I'm snapping on any river but that."

Pacheco Sees the Light

David Pacheco got the last of his chips in with a very premium {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}. Sarne Lightman, however, found the ever so slightly, and yet infinitely, more premium {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds}, and called.

Board: {10-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}

"Oh well, we're all winners anyways," said a philosophical Pacheco, and headed for the payout desk. Lightman up to 1.3 million.
