Hachem Joking Around

Maria Mayrinck joined Joe Hachem's table during the last level. We overheard them joking about a recent hand.

"Slow-rolling me with ace-king, eh?" Hachem asked. Mayrinck laughed and told Hachem to zip it.

"I'll take that one to the grave," Hachem continued, tongue-in-cheek. "It's mean-spirited. Norman Chad's gonna have a field day with that one."

Another player at the table then told a story about getting a penalty during a preliminary event for excessive celebration.

"There should be a penalty for slow-rolling," Hachem said to more laughter from Mayrinck. "There's a penalty for excessive celebration, so why not for slow-rolling?"

"I have the utmost respect, Joe," replied Mayrinck, also tongue-in-cheek, "but I don't think you understand the term 'slow-rolling'. I'll explain it on break."
