Magnus Persson Eliminated on the Bubble

There are sixteen happy players in tonight's Seven-Card Stud World Championship and one dejected "so close!" player. Magnus Persson was anted down relentlessly until he had no choice but to move with split sixes. Hasan Habib was the challenger with three spades, {A-Spades} {10-Spades} {3-Spades}. Persson's split sixes never improved, but Habib caught a fourth spade on fifth street and the caller fifth spade on the river.

Magnus Persson is the bubble boy; the rest of the tournament is on a twenty-minute break.
