Alessio Falls

Scott Seiver soaring up the counts
Scott Seiver soaring up the counts

Alessio Isaia opened to 1,500 from the button only to have Scott Seiver bump it to 6,000 from the small blind.

Isaia pushed all in and Seiver instantly called and stood pat.

Isaia sat in the tank for near on two minutes deliberating whether to stand pat, draw, and if so how many. Eventually the Italian opted to discard two and table his {8-}{7-}{3-}.

Seiver flipped over his {J-}{10-}{7-}{5-}{4-} and screamed out, "hold, please hold!"

Isaia received his two new cards and slowly sweat one out to reveal the {Q-}, and once he tabled his other {8-} to pair up, he made his way to the rail as Seiver climbed to 77,000 in chips.
