Many poker fans, and some members of the media, are regretting their exclusion of Shawn Buchanan from their WSOP fantasy teams.
The young Canadian has been deep in several events already this year including two cashes, and he looks set to reach his third, after chipping up in a recent hand against Jason Dewitt.
Dewitt opened to 7,500 from early position before Buchanan moved all in for his last 44,500 from the button. The blinds folded and Dewitt thought long and hard before releasing. Buchanan is now up to 55,000.

We arrived at the table and saw Antonio Esfandiari attempting to bust two players.
Esfandiari:
Nicola DeVita:
Dmitry Vitkind:
The flop fell , prompting Esfandiari to call for all of his winning cards. "Ace, King, Ten, Queen for Daddy!" he pleaded. The turn did not deliver, but the river sure did, as Esfandiari and Vitkind chopped up DeVita and sent him to the rail.
Sean Nolan moved all in from the hijack position for 53,000 before Matt Iles re-shoved from the button. It's enough to see the blinds run away and the cards are revealed.
Nolan:
Iles:
The board fell and Iles can't pull out something special, as Nolan doubles up to 115,000. Iles is still motoring strong with 215,000.
With the board reading , Chino Rheem's bet of 16,000 was raised to 47,000 by Mohsin Charania. Chino deliberated for a little while and made the call, but saw the bad news when Charania tabled for quads.
After the hand Chino asked, "How much do you bet if I check the river?"
Charania responded, "I dont know, I might check behind. I dont want you check-raising me."
American Ryan Schmidt seems to be getting under the skin of the one and only Phil Hellmuth. Some would say that's not too hard, but Schmidt has been raising many hands recently trying to build a stack as we approach the money bubble.
"Where you from kid? Northern Europe?" joked Hellmuth.
