Glantz Gone

Matt Glantz - Eliminated
Matt Glantz - Eliminated

Pot Limit Omaha:

Erik Seidel raised to 18,000 preflop before Matt Glantz popped it up to 58,000 to play. Seidel made the call and they saw a flop of {7-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Clubs}.

Glantz moved all in for his last 110,000 with Seidel making the call.

Glantz: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Seidel: {5-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

Glantz was in the lead with overpair and nut flush draw, as Seidel's own flush draw suddenly shrivelled up. He was looking for one of his straight outs and it landed when the {4-Clubs} fell on the turn. Seidel improved further when the {A-Clubs} followed on the river to improve to a backdoor flush. Glantz is gone as Seidel moves up to 720,000.

Scott Clements Eliminated

Stud:

After struggling on the short stack for the last level, Scott Clements committed the rest of his chips on third street against Robert Mizrachi. Mizrachi made a king-high straight on fifth street and Clements missed his flush draw. He hit the rail while Mizrachi is up to 810,000.

Seidel Chips Up

No Limit Hold'em:

Vladimir Schmelev opened the action with a raise to 15,000 from middle position. Matt Glantz made the call and Erik Seidel joined in from the small blind.

The players checked through to the river on the {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} board where Seidel decided to casually toss out another 15,000. Schmelev decided to pay to see as Glantz released his cards. Seidel revealed {5-Spades}{4-Spades} for a straight to pad his stack with some more chips.

A Bari Nice Double

No Limit Hold'em:

A short-stacked Allen Bari has found a much needed double up during a recent No Limit Hold'em hand. All the chips were in preflop against Joe Serock.

Bari: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Serock: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}

Bari's dominant hand only got sweeter on the {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{A-Clubs} board as he doubled to 140,000. Serock is down to 330,000.

Mizrachi Straightens Them Out

Omaha 8/b:

Nikolay Evdakov raised it up from early position before Robert Mizrachi put in the re-raise. Scott Seiver cold-called from the cutoff and Evdakov came along to see a flop of {9-Spades}{K-Spades}{2-Clubs}.

Evdakov checked and Mizrachi fired out a bet. Seiver announced a raise but Evdakov made it three bets to play. Both opponents made the call to see the {7-Clubs} hit the turn.

Check, check and Seiver fired out a bet. Again both Evdakov and Mizrachi made the call. The river was the {10-Diamonds} and all three players checked it down.

Mizrachi opened {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for the rivered straight to scoop the nice pot. He's up to 755,000, Seiver is at 480,000 with Evdakov sinking to 210,000.

Boeken Busto

Team PokerStars Pro Noah Boeken
Team PokerStars Pro Noah Boeken

Stud:

Team PokerStars Pro Noah Boeken has been eliminated from the tournament. His demise came in a three-way Stud hand against Matt Glantz and Erik Seidel. Catching the action on the river, Seidel fired a bet into a side pot to force a fold from Glantz as Boeken was already all in.

Boeken: (X-X-X) {J-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Seidel: ({A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}) {6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Glantz: (X-X-X) {2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

A full house for Seidel was too good as he moved back up to 300,000, as Boeken was left to slow walk his way to the nearest Amazon Room exit, perhaps on his way to play the PokerStars Sunday majors?
