Evdakov Keeps on Truckin'

Stud 8/b:

Never underestimate a small Russian man with the record for the most WSOP cashes in a single year.

Despite starting the day with only 20,000 in chips, Evdakov just keeps doubling up to stay alive, his most recent chip infusion coming in the Stud 8 round. In a hand against Eugene Katchalov, Evdakov made a wheel on sixth street to scoop, taking his stack up to 95,000.

Alexander Kostritsyn (X)(X) / {Q-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Tom Chambers (X)(X) / {2-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades} / (X)
Nikolay Evdakov (X)(X) / {2-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} / (X)

Then on the next hand, Evdakov and Chambers chopped up Alexander Kostritsyn's money when the split the pot, Chambers making the low with 7-6-3-2-A and Evdakov taking the high with rolled-up deuces. He's up to about 120,000 now.
