Set Over Set

Following a flop of {10-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{2-Spades}, both Kami Chisholm and Diane Gagne liked what they saw well enough to get all of Gagne's chips in the middle. Chisholm held {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for middle set, but Gagne had {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} for the better set.

The turn was the {A-Hearts} and the river the {9-Spades}, and Gagne pushes way up to 98,000. Chisholm still has a relatively big stack with 116,000.

Cara No Moore

Lisa Teebagy raised to 6,500 from under the gun, and Carol Gardner -- sitting to Teebagy's left -- called the raise. It folded around to Cara Moore in the big blind who reraised all in. Teebagy then repopped it all in herself, forcing a fold from Gardner.

Moore showed {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and Teebagy {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}. The flop came {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} and the turn the {10-Clubs}, and Moore was still best. But the {A-Diamonds} river gave the pot to Teebagy, and Moore is out.

Teebagy now has 68,000.

Crawford Cut Down

Down to about ten big blinds, Claudia Crawford pushed all in and got a caller in Loren Watterworth. Crawford had been caught with {6-Clubs}{2-Spades}, and was in especially tough shape versus Watterworth's {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}.

The flop brought a queen and a couple of clubs -- {7-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs} -- but by the {K-Hearts} river it was over. Crawford is out, and Watterworth now has 65,000.

Wissel Out

Sarah Wissel
Sarah Wissel

The table folded around to Kandis Harris who raised all in for about 25,000 from the small blind, and Sarah Wissel called with her remaining 18,200.

Harris showed {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} and Wissel {A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. The board went {10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}, and Wissel is out. Harris now has 45,000.

Ahumada Out

Another all-in preflop hand here, involving Lisa Ahumada and Vanessa Hellebuyck. Ahumada was the one at risk with {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}, while Hellebuyck held {A-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

The community cards came sadly bereft of face cards (from Ahumada's point of view) -- {9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs} -- and Ahumada is out. Hellebuyck has 48,000.

Nuanmanee No More

Khamsy Nuanmanee opened with a raise to 4,200 from middle position, and Ronit Chamani reraised to 13,000 behind her. The table folded around, and Nuanmanee announced she was all in for 23,800 total. Chamani made the call.

Nuanmanee {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Chamani {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Bad timing for Nuanmanee. The community cards came {8-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, and Chamani eliminated Nuanmanee. Try to say that ten times fast.

Chamani is now up to 85,000.
