Eduardo Miranda limped into the pot under the gun, and Al Barbieri raised from the button. Chuck Danielsson made it three bets from the small blind. Miranda and Barbieri both called, and off they went to a three-way flop.
It came down an action-y , and Danielsson led out with a bet. Barbieri raised, Miranda folded, Danielsson reraised, and Barbieri made it four bets. Danielsson called.
The turn got the rest of Danielsson's chips in on a four-bet, and Barbieri called to put him at risk once again. And the news was not good for Chuck:
Danielsson:
Barbieri:
Danielsson would need to fill up or make quads on the river in order to stay alive, but the blank was not one of those friendly cards. Unable to improve his set, Danielsson has finally been relieved of his stack after nearly a full day of short-stack wizardry.
JJ Liu raised from the button, and Dana Kellstrom called from the big blind to go heads up to the flop.
It came , and Kellstrom check-called a bet.
On the turn, he checked again before sticking in a raise. Liu called the extra bet, and Kellstrom led out on the turn. Coming right back at him, Liu made it two bets, and Kellstrom called the extra this time.
Liu tabled for two pair, and Kellstrom flashed his as his cards went into the muck.
Christopher Vitch opened to 10,000 from the small blind and JJ Liu made the call from the big blind.
Vitch fired out 5,000 on the flop and Liu made the call before Vitch checked the on the turn. Liu pushed out 10,000 only to have Vitch check-raise to 20,000 with Liu making the call.
The river landed the and Vitch bet out 10,000 with Liu sitting in the tank for nearly three minutes before making the call.
Vitch tabled his to prompt a fold from Liu as he climbed to 360,000 while took a step back to 182,000 in chips.
Chuck Danielsson raised from the button, and Eduardo Miranda made the call from the big blind.
The flop came out , and Miranda check-raised to put Danielsson all in right there. Cards up, please:
Danielsson:
Miranda:
Miranda was ahead with his pair, but Danielsson had the overcard and the club draw to work with. The turn was the wrong shade of black, but the river found his flush to double Danielsson up to 35,000.
Christopher Vitch bumped it up from middle position to 10,000 only to have Rafe Furst three-bet from the small blind. Vitch made it 20,000 to go and Furst made the call.
Furst check-called every street with the final board running out only to muck at the sight of Vitch's as he slipped to 22,000 while Vitch climbed to 370,000 in chips.
A few hands later after being crippled by Dana Kellstrom, Furst would find himself all in holding against three players.
The board ran out and it would be Vitch's taking the pot down to send Furst to the rail in 16th place.
Steve Chanthabouasy is out in 17th place after a run-in with Domenico Denotaristefani. Chanthabouasy had made two pair, but Denotaristefani ran down a club flush on the river to send the other long-named man to the payout desk.
