Live of Ivey

Phil Ivey just kept firing and eventually he won the pot. He re-raised after one player limped into the pot pre-flop and another raised. Both called. Ivey fired first to act on a flop of {3-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {6-Clubs}. Both players called.

Ivey fired again on the {5-Spades} turn and got one opponent to fold. He fired a fourth time on the {9-Hearts} river and was called. At showdown, Ivey produced {a-Spades} {2-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {9-Clubs} for the nut low and two pair, nines and sixes. Both hands were best, giving Ivey a scoop to 44,000.
