King of the Mountain

Jon Friedberg moved all in for roughly 18,000 before Michael Rofman moved in over the top for around 60,000. Daniel Negreanu then put all his chips at risk and the three players turned their cards on their backs.

Friedberg: {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Rofman: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Negreanu: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The flop came down {5-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Negreanu was sitting pretty with his kings. The turn {k-Diamonds} solidified it for Negreanu and the river fell the {3-Clubs}.

Friedberg was sent to the pay desk while Negreanu chipped up to 122,000 and Rofman dropped to around 9,000.

The action folded to Maria "Maridu" Mayrinck who shoved all in for 30,900 from the small blind. Klinghammer Thibaut tanked in the big blind and finally made the call.

Robl Rocks

Joseph Bartholdi opened to opened to 5,700 from the cutoff and Andrew Robl was his only caller out of the small blind.

The flop fell {J-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Robl check-called 7,000 from Bartholdi.

Both players checked the {K-Spades} on the turn and the {2-Spades} on the river.

Robl opened {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} for a winning pair of kings chipping up to 97,000. Bartholdi slipped to 167,000 chips.

Ivarsson Straightens out Smith

There was about 22,200 in the middle when the dealer flopped {6-Hearts}{2-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and both Alexander Ivarsson and Justin "Boosted J" Smith checked.

The two checked when the {5-Hearts} turned as well, but Ivarsson led for 25,000 after the {8-Spades} rivered. Smith called.

Ivarsson opened {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for a turned straight and Smith mucked his hand.

Smith dropped to 110,00 chips while Ivarsson increased his count to 290,000.

Schussler and Negreanu Tangle Again

From under the gun, Daniel Negreanu made it 5,600. It folded around to Sarah Schussler on the button who moved in for 66,800.

"Give it a count, cause I'm probably going to play," Negreanu said to the dealer. When the dealer counted 67,000, Negreanu said, "Let's see what this will do to me," and starts counting his chips.

"Almost half my stack. I think you have ace-king but I'm going to let you have it," he said and folded {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} face-up.

Schussler showed {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} to which Negreanu said, "Aces, I think you had me beat."
