Ryan Doubles

Kyle Ryan got himself all in for his last 80,000 on the turn of a board showing {4-Spades} {J-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {K-Hearts}, battling with Matt Keikoan.

Ryan was in good shape with one card to come, turning over {Q-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} to Keikoan's {Q-Spades} {9-Spades}. The river was safe for him as well, the {5-Clubs}, and that marks a much needed double up for the short stack.

Ryan is up at the 700,000-chip mark now.

Kings Up

Dan Idema open-raised, Matt Keikoan three-bet and Jameson Painter put in a four-bet. Both Idema and Keikoan called.

Painter led out on the {K-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, Idema raised, Keikoan folded and Painter called. Painter check-called two more big bets on the {9-Spades} turn and the {Q-Clubs} river.

Idema showed {K-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for two pair and took down the pot.

B.o.B.

With the action folded to the blinds, Matt Keikoan raised from the small, and Jameson Painter called from the big.

The flop brought {6-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {4-Hearts}, and Painter called a Keikoan bet. That action repeated on the {2-Spades} turn and the {A-Spades} river, with Painter calling bets the whole way. At showdown, Keikoan's {6-Spades} {9-Spades} was the best hand, earning him the pot and a chunk of Painter's chips.

Painter and Idema Clash Again

Dan Idema opened for a raise, Jameson Painter three-bet and Idema called.

Painter led out on each street of the {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts} board, Idema calling him down. Painter showed {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and took down the pot to chants of "P-O-Y! P-O-Y!" from his supporters (should he win here tonight, Painter will take the lead in the Player of the Year raise).

Idema Abusing Painter

Daniel Idema
Daniel Idema

First to act, Daniel Idema raised, and Jameson Painter three-bet from the small blind. Idema called, and the two men took a flop of {7-Spades} {3-Spades} {A-Clubs}. Painter bet out, and Idema raised. Painter called there, but he check-folded to one bet on the {9-Spades} turn.

On the next hand, it was Painter opening with a raise on the button, and Idema called from the big blind. Idema check-raised on the {9-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {6-Clubs} flop, then fired another bet on the {9-Clubs}. Once more, Painter couldn't go past the turn, and he released his cards to send the second pot to Idema.

Painter - 960,000
Idema - 1,960,000

Ray Clawing Back

From the button Kyle Ray raised, and Daniel Idema three-bet him from the small blind. Ray called, and they took a heads-up flop of {9-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {Q-Spades}.

Idema bet, and Ray called, and they both check-checked the {10-Hearts} turn. Idema checked the {Q-Diamonds} river too, and he called one big bet from his opponent. Ray tabled {8-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} for queens and tens, and Idema mucked to concede the pot.

Ray is up to 690,000 now.
