Two Hands of Limit Goodness

Here are two back-to-back hands we caught, grouped together for your enjoyment.

On the first hand, Shaun Deeb raised from middle position, and he called a three-bet from Albert Minnullin in position. The flop came a very lady-like {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {Q-Clubs}, and Deeb check-called a bet. He did the same on the {8-Clubs} turn before check-folding to one last Minnullin bet on the {7-Clubs} river.

Deeb - 109,000
Minnullin 58,000

On the next hand, Phil Ivey raised, and he called a three-bet from Mark Cortazzo. The board ran out {2-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {K-Clubs} {3-Spades} with the players checking it down the whole way. Ivey showed up {A-Spades} {9-Diamonds}, and his superior kicker was good enough to take the pot over Cortazzo's {A-Diamonds} {6-Hearts}.

Ivey - 31,000
Cortazzo - 80,000
