Aces No Good for Minneapolis Jim

Minneapolis Jim Meehan was all-in preflop holding {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} against an opponent's {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}.

The {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop gave his opponent a pair and after a blank ({2-Clubs}) on the turn, the river brought another jack, the {J-Diamonds}, crippling Meehan to just 700 chips.

The next hand Minneapolis Jim tossed his last 700 in from under the gun, a player in middle position isolated to 2,400 and the big blind called. The two checked every street and the board ran {K-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}.

Meehan showed {K-Spades}{8-Spades} for top pair, but the player in middle position tabled {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for a rivered four flush eliminating Minneapolis Jim from the tournament.
