Rasmussen Doubles, Staudenmaier Eliminated, Teng Gets to Eat

We arrived tableside to witness Thayer Rasmussen all in with {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} against Dan Lu's {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}.

Board: {q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{a-Clubs}

"NO!" cried Andrew Teng, who was railing as Rasmussen doubled to 39,000. We naturally assumed from his horror at the river card that he was railing Lu, but we were wrong. "We would have gone and got food if that didn't happen," lamented Teng. He pointed out Luke "IWEARGOGGLES" Staudenmaier, also a short stack at the same table. "I'm sweating him to bust now. I've got one more shot."

And indeed Teng got his rather self-interested wish a few moments later, as Staudenmaier shoved the small blind with {q-}{j-}, only for the gent in the big blind to wake up with aces.
