Richard Rice Eliminated in 9th Place ($51,735)

With father Irving swallowing the final table bubble last night, Richard Rice has become the second Rice (or should the singular be Rie?) to be eliminated from Event #3, picking up $51,735 for his troubles.

It was fan favourite Nicholas Mitchell who kick-started the action, opening for a raise of 110,000 with {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} from early to mid position. Rice moved in a few seats down for a total of 575,000 with {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}, and Mitchell, after a brief pause, made the call.

After a {6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{9-Spades}{A-Spades} board, the Frat Pack erupted like Mount Vesuvius as their boy Mitchell picked up the pot. Rice, meanwhile, departed with a smile, and to a ncie ripple of applause.
