Gross, Griffin, Gordon Go Go Go (to Round 3)

Steve Gross has eliminated Carlos Mortensen to move on to tomorrow's round of 64.

Ashton Griffin has won, beating Antoine Berube.

And Phil Gordon has advanced to Day 2. Gordon had the lead for much of his match against Benjamin Sulsky. Finally came a hand in which following a {9-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop, Sulsky ended up committing all his chips with {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for tens and hoped to fade Gordon's flush draw with {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. But the {2-Clubs} came on the turn, making the river inconsequential.
