Time For Another Weekly $1K

It's Saturday, and you know what that means - it's time for another $1,000 no limit hold'em event. Last year's "Stimulus Special" was so overwhelmingly popular that WSOP organizers have thrown one in every weekend over this year's series.

This is the third $1K event of the series and if we're to judge by past numbers (and we are), we should be getting between 3,000 and 4,000 players signing up over our two starting days. We'll be concluding play on Wednesday when we present another lucky player with a bracelet and a huge paycheque.

As for our past $1k winers, Jeff Tebben won Event No. 24 for a cool $503,389, Stephen Gee won Event No. 13 to take home $472,479 while Aadam Daya won Event No. 3 for $625,872.

Stay with us today for every flop, river, bad beat, cooler and "one time."
