Todd Barlow Eliminated in 9th Place ($17,780)

Todd Barlow - 9th Place
Todd Barlow - 9th Place

Oh my goodness, that was a dirty beat that Todd Barlow just took. Pre-flop, he called from the button after Dan Heimiller raised in early position. It was just the two of them to a flop of {6-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {5-Spades}. Heimiller bet, then called after Barlow raised all in. Barlow had trip fives with {a-} {2-} {5-} {7-Hearts}; Heimiller was drawing at half of the low with {a-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {q-Clubs}. Barlow couldn't figure out how he lost the pot when the turn and river came running sixes, {6-Clubs} {6-Diamonds}. It was because each player had to use two plus three. Each players was playing three sixes from the board, but Heimiller's {A-Hearts} {q-Clubs} out-kicked Barlow's {a-} {7-}.

Once it was explained, Barlow nodded his head, stood up, and went to collect $17,780.
